This excellent extra virgin olive oil comes from the Garda region in east-northern Italy. It is produced in a limited quantity, by the selection of Casaliva and Leccino olives. They are harvested by hand when they are ripe, then they are immediately pressed. This oil has a limpid colour, with warm and green accents. Its delicately fruity aroma is persistent, and lightly peppery, and it is characterized by a unique fragrance of flowers. This product also reminds of hazelnut, with a wholesome, spicy yet delicate taste. It is recommended to be used for meat, cooked vegetables and more importantly for the seasoning of fish and shellfish. It is an ideal element for the preparation of all kinds of sauces and even pastry.
