NICCOLINI

HISTORY OF NICCOLINI

The company dates back to the 1930s, when the brothers Eugenio and Virgilio Niccolini opened STAC (In Italian Società Toscana Alimentari e Coloniali) a warehouse and shop located in the centre of Arezzo (Tuscany, Italy) ad dedicated to the wholesale commerce of alimentary products. Spices and Extra virgin olive oil were the core of their products. The customers would go to the STAC store, where the locally produced oils were rigorously conserved in ancient terracotta jars, to fill their bottles, Demijohn or classic Tuscan flasks.

Carlo Niccolini, Virgilio’s son, inherited from his father and uncle the passion for high quality olive oils from Tuscany. Under his guide, the company has dedicated all its energies to this product. Thanks to this exclusive attention and engagement, Niccolini has become a company of reference in the extra virgin olive oil sector as well as an official member of Corporazione Mastri Oleari (the Official Corporation of the Italian Olive Oil Masters). Niccolini’s exquisite oils are appreciated by food lovers in Italy, as well as in Japan, England, Canada, The United States, Germany, Holland and Switzerland.
