This puree is made from fresh pumpkin 100% italian:  it takes almost 2,5kg of pumpkin to make 800g of cream because all the pulp and the water are removed.

The puree is thick, the taste of pumpkin is intense.  This puree is very easy to use: mixed to ricotta cheese, its makes a great stuffing for pasta, or in a vegetable soup, to add thickness and a great taste.  It is good in a dessert, for example, in a crème brûlée, flan or cheese cake.  It is also delicious in a quiche and in a  focaccia.
